Birthstory

When I first came home keeping my eyes open during mealtimes was an accomplishment. Mummy and daddy had to wake me up every few hours to make sure that I had had enough to eat. I weighed less than 6lbs by the time I left the hospital, but I didn't get the sucking thing so mummy and I had to work really hard at breastfeeding.

We tried it all. nipple shields, lanolin, polysporin and breast pumps and bottles as a backup... but by 3 weeks we got it figured out and were into our routine.

I lost my umbilical cord on day 6.

By week 4 I had almost doubles my weight!

I established that my favourite position is hanging upside down on someone's arm... although I hear that it draws a lot of attention in the local malls.
